I’m Alissa and I’m the owner and designer of Graefic Design (yes, it’s pronounced “graphic”). Funny story actually. My maiden name is Graef so it was very fitting (and pretty convenient) that I studied and made a career in the graphic design field.
Anywho, now that we’ve cleared that up, I just want to say thank you for being here and supporting this dream of mine. Ever since I became a designer, I’ve always dreamt of creating a line of products that were unlike anything I’ve seen before. And not in a way that’s over-the-top or complicated… I mean in a way that is easy, simple, and creatively unique. I want each piece to feel familiar while also giving you that feeling of excitement because you just snagged something no one else has. Know what I mean? It almost feels... like home.
I take great pride in the designs we offer and the products we carry and always strive to support other local businesses where I can along the way. Fun fact: our cursive CHS logo that you see on a variety of our products, most notably our Riley Caps, is actually my handwriting, so you will, in fact, never get anything else like it.
As a small business owner, I’m so grateful for each and every one of you that comes to our site, purchases our products, supports us on social media, and beyond. You have helped make this little dream of mine bigger than I ever could have imagined. To think, I started this back in 2016 with just one logo design and one gray t-shirt (and not much confidence or knowledge in how this would all work, quite honestly). Now, we offer over 25 products and our collection continues to grow each year! We’re in various shops around Charleston, we’ve done collaborations with other local makers and businesses, and we’re always looking at how we can continue to grow while still supporting local.
So, from our little team here (myself, my husband, and our sassy fur-babies—Riley + Roxy) we thank you. Thank you for your faith in me to deliver you the products I’ve always dreamt of creating, and thank you for your continued support!
