Keep in mind, the right branding for your business is SO important, and colors, imagery, fonts, and textures all play into that. If blue tones are not what you're looking for for your business, then your only takeaway from this post would be about the process of finding the right colors (not the actual colors themselves... make sense?).

Putting together your color palette is so important. Starting with one color and building from there is perfectly OK (there's an awesome tool called COOLORS to help you build this out). Here's what I put together for this classic blue palette—feel free to use this or build off of it for your own color palette!

To go along with your color palette (and sometimes to even influence the colors you choose) are images and textures you want to see in your branding. For example, if you're an interior designer and you want your clients to understand your simplistic, bold, and upscale style, you'd want to look for images and textures that help portray that. It could be pictures of bold colors and patterns, clean lines, high-end materials and fabrics, etc. Anything that gives you the feeling you're trying to evoke in your branding.
